Airline Cadet Program

If you have applied to join a pilot cadet program with another airline & been knocked back it does NOT necessarily mean that you will not be successful gaining employment with other regional or major airlines in Australia or overseas. Read on .....

Fast Track Pilot Training has now successfully placed cadet pilot first officers (co-pilots) to Skippers Aviation & REX.

View testimonials  now from our Fast Track trainee pilots who have gained employment with Skippers Aviation!!

Skippers is a regional airline based in Perth who fly a range of Turbo Prop aircraft throughout Western Australia. Skippers flies a mix of regular public transport (RPT) routes to country centres around WA & charter flights for the fast growing mining industry.

Historically pilots have been required to have hundreds, if not thousands of hours of flight experience to be employed by companies operating these type of aircraft.

Under our cadet pilot arrangement Skippers have previously accepted suitable candidates put forward by Fast Track Pilot Training who hold a basic commercial pilots licence & muti-engine command instrument rating with less than 200 hours of total flight experience.

So how does our cadet pilot program work?

Its simple, if you are selected by us for the program, work hard, pass the course, are awarded a commercial pilots licence & muli-engine command instrument rating by CASA & throughout your pilot course consistently show us that you have what it takes to be an airline pilot then we will put your name forward to several airlines for interview.

Airlines train their pilots to operate through what are known as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). These train captains & co-pilots what to say and do in the cockpit so the airline can roster all their captains & co-pilots together and be confident that whatever crew combinations are rostered that all their pilots will operate the aircraft the same standards resulting in greater safety standards.

At Fast Track you will be trained to operate by Standard Operating Procedures which will prepare you well for your future airline career.

Like most other industries once you have completed your basic pilot training it is quite often very difficult to score your first job.

In aviation, job prospects revolve around how many flight hours pilots have recorded in their log books.

So if you think you have what it takes to meet our rigorous training standards, have a desire to propel your pilot career forward & would like to join our Airline Cadet Program then contact us immediately to discuss this opportunity in greater detail!

Other Airlines that are currently interviewing for cadet pilots are Qantas Link & Cathay Pacific.

Our Airline Cadet Program is a wonderful opportunity for successful applicants to accelerate their airline career path.
